czech LVZ and obligation braking when exceeding 167km/h speed

  • I set up a test route using the czech LVZ train control system (similar to german LZB) and Loksim version 2.7.
With 200km/h speed limit, train with bremsstellung = R and Indusiprogramm bereich = O I get obligation braking when speed exceeds 167 km/h, like if the actual speed limit was 160 km/h.
This didnt happen with version 2.5
    Please can anyone help?

    thanks

  • Hi etr212,

is your LVZ also defined as the LZB? Did you activate the LZB in the locomotive?
Maybe it has a simple cause ;)

  • Benjamin thanks for your prompt reply
I checked the route and the lok again following your suggestions:
all conditions for speed >160km/h seem ok but still cannot go above 160km/h if I drive with AFB or I get an obligation braking at 168km/h if I drive without.

I tested again and if I change the "Art der Indusi" value of the Lok from "tsch. LVZ" to "PZB90 V1.6" now I can drive at 200km/h.
I attach two screenshots from the info panel:

    a) with LVZ max speed setting with AFB is 160km/h and the green light below shows LVZ working

    b) with PZB90 V1.6 AFB works with the correct max speed setting of 200km/h

So it seems to me that the problem lies with the "tsch. LVZ" setting

    It can be also that:
    1) LVZ allows a maximum driving speed of 160km/h (I have searched online but found no information about it)
    OR
    2) Loksim does not recognize it as a valid system to allow speed >160km/h

I cannot understand if I am missing something else
    thank you
